چکیده

Abstract We present the results of a detailed investigation poorly studied X-ray pulsar (XRP) XTE J1858+034 based on data obtained with NuSTAR observatory during outburst source in 2019. The spectral analysis resulted discovery cyclotron absorption feature spectrum at ∼48 keV both pulse phase-averaged and resolved spectra. Accurate localization using Chandra observatories allowed us to accurately determine position identify optical companion pulsar. counterpart properties suggested that system is likely symbiotic binary hosting an XRP late-type star K-M classes rather than Be as previously suggested.

Imaging X-ray, Optical, and Infrared Observations of the Transient Anomalous X-ray Pulsar Xte

We report X-ray imaging, timing, and spectral studies of XTE J1810−197, a 5.54 s pulsar discovered by Ibrahim et al. (2003) in recent RXTE observations. In a set of short exposures with the High Resolution Camera on-board the Chandra X-ray Observatory we detect a strongly modulated signal (55±4% pulsed fraction) with the expected period located at (J2000) 180951.08, −194351. 7, with a uncertain...

Nustar Discovery of a Cyclotron Line in the Accreting X-ray Pulsar

The high-mass X-ray binary and accreting X-ray pulsar IGR J16393−4643 was observed by NuSTAR in the 3–79 keV energy band for a net exposure time of 50 ks. We present the results of this observation which enabled the discovery of a cyclotron resonant scattering feature with a centroid energy of 29.3+1.1 −1.3 keV. This allowed us to measure the magnetic field strength of the neutron star for the ...

X-Ray and Optical Observations of XTE J0052-723 a Transient Be/X-Ray Pulsar in the Small Magellanic Cloud

On December 27th 2000 during our regular SMC monitoring program with Rossi Xray Timing Explorer (RXTE) strong pulsations were detected with a period of 4.78 seconds. Subsequent slew observations performed on Jan 9 and 13 across the field of view allowed localisation of the pulsar’s position to RA: 05217, Dec: 721951 (J2000). The outburst continued until Jan 24, 7 PCA observations were obtained ...

Infrared and X–ray Variability of the Transient Anomalous X-ray Pulsar Xte J1810-197 ⋆

We report on observations aimed at searching for flux variations from the proposed IR counterpart of the Anomalous X–ray Pulsar (AXP) XTE J1810−197. These data, obtained in March 2004 with the adaptive optics camera NAOS-CONICA at the ESO VLT, show that the candidate proposed by Israel et al. (2004) was fainter by ∆H = 0.7 ± 0.2 and ∆Ks = 0.5 ± 0.1 with respect to October 2003, confirming it as...
